Cilva joined the Boston office in May 2023 as Landscape Designer. Her design focus highlights developing interdisciplinary solutions that integrate human experience and socio-environmental resiliency. Believing landscape practices should develop beyond existing geographic & disciplinary boundaries, Cilva participated in-field research and practiced designs under a complex international context, across America, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Prior to joining MASS, Cilva received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Penn State, where she was granted the 2020 ASLA Student Honor Award and 2020 College Creative Achievement Award. As she continued to pursue Master of Landscape Architecture, Cilva worked for 2 years as Teaching and Researching Assistant at Cornell University in a series of studios, labs, and research projects across Climate-adaptive design, Urban ecology, and Participatory design.
