At MASS, Azza has contributed to the concept design of a trauma healing center and executive housing in Rwanda; the concept and schematic design of Jacaranda Health in Kenya; and the narrative and concept design of a mausoleum in Rwanda.
Before joining MASS in 2023, Azza volunteered at the Rwanda Institute of Architects, where she supported professional development initiatives and led the FutureYou project to promote STEM opportunities for female students.
Azza graduated with honors from the University of Rwanda’s School of Architecture and the Built Environment. Her thesis examined how the integration of housing and public facilities can improve communal wellbeing. In 2021, she co-authored a paper advocating for green building in Rwanda.
