We should never design for want. We should design for needs. Our communities are actively engaging and uplifting our architecture and the environments around us.

Kordae Henry

Design Associate
Boston, MA, USA

Kordae Henry joined MASS in 2015 as an associate designer, and has worked on the Gallaudet University design competition and a memorial in Montgomery, Alabama. His ongoing work delivers a clear narrative between architecture and landscape architecture as bridge connecting two parallel worlds. As the team continues to push the boundaries and civic responsibilities of design; Kordae’s experience allows him to appreciate the intensely collaborative environment MASS has distinctively crafted.

Prior to MASS, Kordae interned for Melk! as a landscape designer and IK studio as cinematographer. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, graduating with a dual master in architecture and landscape architecture in 2015. While at UPenn he was the recipient of the 2014 KPF Fellowship, Van Allen Travel Fellowship, and received the 2015 Alpha Rho Chi Medal.
