Jean Damascène Sekamana joined MASS in 2018 and is currently a Director. At MASS, Jean Damascène has been leading the construction administration of various projects including the recently completed Munini District Hospital, a 208- bed district hospital located in Nyaruguru District, the African Leadership University, and Norrsken Kigali House. He is currently managing the construction administration of the Regional Centre of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering and eHealth, a new campus incorporating private, public, and university spaces for biomedical engineering and e-health work within a single building.

Before joining MASS, Jean Damascène worked as a Civil Project Manager at Skol Brewery Ltd. (Rwanda), after working for nearly a year as a Site Manager in Swidal Network Ltd. Before then, he had worked as a Site-based Project Engineer at SYNERGY Property Development Services Ltd, on arguably the biggest and most luxurious residential development in Rwanda, that included 504 luxury housing villas and apartments. Jean Damascène holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the National University of Rwanda and a Master of Science in Urban Design from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.

He is particularly interested in developing and implementing the highest standards of construction administration procedures and practices, which can be added to MASS’s unique innovative design to achieve the team’s overall goal.
