Business Development Associate

Boston, MA

MASS is seeking a Business Development Associate to support the growth of our US-based offices and studios. In the last ten years our work has expanded to over twenty countries around the world with a portfolio of design services that spans architectural design, master planning, landscape architecture, engineering, furniture design and strategic planning. This is an opportunity to support the strategy and projects that will help to define our next ten years. Working with Principals and domain leads this individual will be responsible for coordinating day to day business development processes, working to identify and cultivate leads, and produce successful responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other proposals.

  • Coordinate day to day business development production processes, including preparing responses to RFPs, RFQs, and similar proposals
  • Facilitate weekly business development meetings
  • Oversee new collateral development and maintenance of existing collateral
  • Assist in the qualification and cultivation of new partnerships and clients
  • Support broad U.S. based business development
  • Monitor online tender subscription services for new business opportunities
  • Develop strategic relationships to expand MASS’s presence

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-5 years of experience in marketing, advocacy or development
  • Experience using Salesforce 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop) a plus
  • Experience working in a business development role in an architecture or design firm preferred
