Emma joined MASS full-time in 2018 and works in the Boston office. During a previous internship, she contributed to Architecture of Health, a publication that charts the evolution of the hospital through essays, photo essays and case studies of African Hospitals. Prior to returning to MASS, she served as an AmeriCorps Construction Crew Leader with Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston where she combined her architectural background and love of residential construction with strong mission-based work.

Emma attended Pratt Institute where she received her Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Sustainability Studies. Her thesis focused on researching and designing women’s health and education centers to de-stigmatize and prevent HIV infection in Maputo, Mozambique.
